19th century

Ferdinand and Otto von Steinbeis paved the way for modern manufacturing, training, and value-based entrepreneurship.

20th century

The younger Generation Steinbeis revolutionized the resource-intensive paper industry, bringing about “ecological transformation” and establishing one of the most modern recycled paper factories in Europe. The goal of the Steinbeis Foundation and Steinbeis GmbH & Co. KG für Technologietransfer is to continue this commitment entered into by Generation Steinbeis, not only to science and academia, but also to economic development.
